Why is it called Gem House? Yes, the home is truly a gem, situated on a sandy stretch of Lake Superior shoreline, filled with art from Minnesota-based artists and located within walking distance of two of the North Shore’s most unique destinations: Naniboujou Lodge and Judge C.R. Magney State Park. But the most unique feature at Gem House is the incredibly beautiful amethyst fireplace that competes with the spectacular view of Lake Superior as the centerpiece of this unique home.

  • Two spacious upstairs bedrooms, each with king beds that can be separated into two extra-long twin beds if desired
  • One basement bedroom with a queen-sized bed
  • Two full upstairs bathrooms and a half bath in the basement
